Er Guerrita Tavern
The origin of the club
La Taberna der Guerrita, is a humble location with a simple motto that has been preserved for decades until today: “Here is where good wine is enjoyed”. Created in 1978 by Manuel Guerra and continued by his son Armando.
This hideout is located in an old corner next to the doors of Rubiños and San Salvador. The location, in the so-called Barrio Bajo sanluqueño, brings the visitor closer to the essence of Jerez, to the popular, to the pure.
Those who visit the tavern find more than forty years of history portrayed on the walls of bullfighting posters and the scent of old wine.

The idea was to share the region’s novelties with wine lovers from all over Spain. This answered an obvious need: Jerez is the hub of new ideas, some are fresh out of the oven and others are recovered old recipes, but all are necessary for wine lovers alike.

Defenders of traditional Andalusian wines
Club Contubernio is a private club where we meet nonconformists and wine enthusiasts in all its aspects, our reference is the Marco de Jerez but without turning our back on the great diversity of wines that we have in other regions.
We place special emphasis on searching for updates offered to us by the area. Friends such as Ramiro Ibáñez, Willy Pérez, Forlong, La Callejuela…represent new ways of working and offer an even better way of working the Framework of Jerez.
Equally important are our partnerships with Barbadillo, Delgado Zuleta or Piñero wineries as we take advantage, in our own way, of their great potential, with their permission and support in search of a common goal: excellence.

The tasting room
Talking about wine is sharing experiences and having a good time, simply that.
Going to the back room we will find the tasting room, white, deep white, it could be a wine tasting room in Sanlúcar de Barrameda or any other city in the world. Since it opened in 2008, it has not ceased to promote encounters with wine as an accompaniment.
There is no doubt that the objective and the respect focus on the wine and the service. The warmth comes from friends who occupy the chairs, no matter if they are educators, novices or inquisitive visitors. You add the human touch.
Sometimes we taste in the back room, sometimes the session is public and notorious. 6 wines from the Marco de Jerez
The box of six bottles include wines from the region or inspired by traditional aging from Jerez. Some of them will be wines that are not available in the store or limited editions impossible to get.

Access to wine tasting and events.
You will have exclusive access to events held by Er Guerrita, tastings, meals or any of the events that he does periodically.

3 Annual shipments. In some cases, if we have the possibility when you join the club, we will send you the previous contubernio.
Shipping dates are early May, September and December.
